The Limo 190 is a real Chopperdome custom build, with garage made rear hubs and rim we gone a little further then before, 190 mm rear tire that was hanging around the shop, not really in the way, but still needed a purpose besides decoration...so we build a bike around it. 

Shortly before the FBI, it was decided to build a wheel for this monstrous tire and to make a bike for the dragrace. Since there is no such thing as a DHL 170mm rim in 22”, it turned out to be an interesting project with lots of chopping in order to create some space for the rear wheel.

Matt welded four 20” rims together and created a 22” strip out of a 26” strip so the tire would stay in place. Some extra flanches were created in order to fit the 144 spokes. After this demanding labour, four tubes were forced into the tire and the tire was set in place.

Next, the frame had to be adjusted so that the rear wheel would fit.

Luckily, there were two severely damaged bikes left – a Limo and Nirve Pyro – that could be sacrificed for this project. The top tube of the Pyro served as the lower tube for the Limo in order to lower the frame a little more.

Because the chain could give problems with the rear wheel, an extra sprocket was used; a simple and effective solution.

After welding the bike, a quick primer paint job followed and the bike was ready to enter the FBI dragrace.
